Day 42 of 100 Days of Making Comics

1/23/2021 - Day [the answer is 42] : 49 minutes today went into working on a model sheet for the character in Endstar Arrival with a cybernetic beard. To think of it, some undetermined quantity of time was intermittently spent writing notes today that in many cases corresponded directly to the Endstar Arrival project as well. Day 1 of 100 Days of Making Comics!

Hey, I'm Anna Raub [AKA: Mask Woman from the Turaco Creative Cast ] Today, I’m committing to the 100 Days of Making Comics Challenge ! [courtesy of Kevin Cross.] My goal is to continue my Endstar Arrival story [as was featured in Issue#2 of the 9Volt Comics PULP Anthology.] For this challenge I’ll: Work on my comic for at least 30min a day for 100 days in a row. [Though my personal goal is at least 3 hours each day for five days out of the week.] Regularly give updates on my progress so that I can be held accountable and also so that the process that went into producing my comic is saved and can be looked back on. Try to keep track of how much time I spend doing the challenge each day. The time that I count towards this challenge will be time spent doing something specific and productive. Day 38 of 100 Days of Making Comics

Hey, I'm Anna Raub [AKA: Mask Woman from the Turaco Creative Cast ] I'm doing the 100 Days of Making Comics Challenge [courtesy of Kevin Cross.] 1/19/2021 - Day 38: A little over an hour went into furthering the Endstar Arrival project today. I picked up where I left off yesterday, but decided to start work on a model sheet for Scruffy, which is going well in spite of the minor size discrepancies that I ran into in my reference drawings. Outside the hour, I spent some more time drawing dragons for a different story, and wrote several ideas down. Progress Screenshots: [A lot of chaotic layer stacking went on today. I morphed, resized, contrasted, spliced and overlapped drawings. It was all to problem solve for character size ratios in preparation for a new set of model sheets.] [...
