Day 27 of 100 Days of Making Comics

 

Hey, I'm Anna Raub [AKA: Mask Woman from the Turaco Creative Cast] I'm doing the 100 Days of Making Comics Challenge [courtesy of Kevin Cross.]

• 1/8/2021 - Day 27: Armor! I spent basically my entire day contemplating, scrutinizing, modifying, and designing robot armor for Coda. I experimented with colors as well, though I'm not totally set on anything quite yet. I'll give it another day or two.

[As it would turn out, I'm not especially fast at coloring yet. I haven't streamlined my process, and with the ability to digitally change and erase so easily, it's almost cripplingly slow if I don't start coloring with a plan. Which is one more reason why I really like making and having model sheets to work with. Then again, maybe I'm just a little impatient, and I'm moving at a normal speed... what is normal anyway? But hey, if there's room for improvement, then I'll try to reach for it.] 

[Oh, and a random robot-creature sketch thing. I don't know what this one does, but I'll add some more distinguishing features later. I wonder if it's head should turn into a pair of scissors? Or wait, it could turn into a key for some kind of ancient door... or maybe it's just an over-glorified pair of scissors.]
