Hey, I'm Anna Raub [AKA: Mask Woman from the Turaco Creative Cast] I'm doing the 100 Days of Making Comics Challenge [courtesy of Kevin Cross.]
1/17/2021 - Day 36: Another hour and a few extra minutes went into refining this robot dragon-creature today.
Progress Screenshots: [Redid the line-art to smooth it out, and spent time improving the placement of the values.]
- Below is what it looks like after adding a bit of a different color and some more tone to the illustration:
Other Notes:
- Today's random interesting animal: Coatis (Belonging to the family Procyonidae, and genera Nasua or Nasuella, depending on the species.) are kinda bear-like, kinda raccoon-like, can climb headfirst down trees because their ankles can rotate beyond 180° and they have a fairly long flexible nose, which earns them the nickname hog-nosed raccoon. However, unlike raccoons, this omnivorous mammal is diurnal.
- you're welcome to name a random animal in the comments for me to read about as well if you want.
Thanks for Reading! :)

I like the blueish version, looks more like the little armor robots.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it! I'm also leaning toward the blueish version, it matches more, and there are more values to play with. :)
DeleteThe tiger quoll is pretty interesting
ReplyDeleteI agree! I knew of the quoll as an Australian marsupial, but there's a lot more to learn about them. The Tiger quoll has some nice spots and is really cute. Interestingly, I was just reading about another carnivorous marsupial, the Thylacine or Tasmanian tiger. It's an unusual and interesting dog-like creature with stripes, but unfortunately its widely accepted to be an extinct species, and whole genus.
